A nose-picking primate may have just made history in North Carolina.
A lemur at the Duke Lemur Center in Durham was documented digging for nose-gold, making it the first time anyone has observed that behavior in the species known as aye-aye.
The long-fingered lemur in question is a female known as Kali.
The Journal of Zoology published the findings on Wednesday.
