A former Rockland County District Attorney is sharing his thoughts on what's next in the Trump case.
Michael Bongiorno says the indictment doesn't reveal a lot.
He says the felonies could be punishable with prison time, but defendants rarely go to prison for them.
He believes the case could end up going in any direction. "This case has a lot of questions and I think I would've had second and third thoughts about bringing a case like this against any politician," says Bongiorno.
Bongiorno adds you can expect extensive and complicated motions to come next, including a motion to dismiss based on prosecutorial misconduct and selective prosecution.
Right now, Trump's team is looking through grand jury testimony to see if the process was impaired.
