Man accused in fatal shooting at Poughkeepsie hotel facing additional charges

The man charged in the fatal shooting in a Dutchess County hotel lobby is facing additional charges.
Roy Johnson is accused of fatally shooting Paul Kutz, of Long Island, in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott in Poughkeepsie last October.
Kutz was at the hotel visiting his son at Marist College as part of parents' weekend.
The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office says Johnson has been indicted on an additional count of second-degree murder and attempted murder for attempting to cause the death of a hotel employee.
Johnson faces 50 years to life in prison if convicted.
He is being held without bail at the County Jail.
Devin Taylor, a second suspect, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
