Man jumps into Hudson River in Yonkers to save child, prompting search
A young child fell into the Hudson River in Yonkers this evening, and a man jumped in to save him, prompting a search.

 

The child, whose identity has not been released, fell into the river during the annual School Street Cookout at JFK Marina.

 

The incident prompted a police search for both of them.

 

News 12 is told that both the man and child have been rescued. However, their conditions are unknown at this time.
