10h agoOfficials say a Newburgh man will spend four years in state prison for shooting his wife in the head with a BB Gun several times.
They say Steven Lillo pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife during an argument in their home back in 2021.
The Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler says Lillo shot his wife in the head five times at close range and once in the hand. The BBs got lodged in her head while their 7-year-old daughter witnessed the attack.
Hoovler called the attack inexcusable and urges all victims of domestic violence to continue to come forward.
