Messages of hate found on walls of a Rockland County synagogue
Police are looking for the person or persons responsible for spray-painting messages of hate on the walls of a synagogue in Wesley Hills.
Swastikas, hate messages and lewd drawings lined the walls of Kehillas Bais Yehudah Sunday morning. Eggs were also thrown at the temple. Police believe kids may be to blame after finding the word Steelers and a smiley face on the walls.
Worshippers say it's tough to understand why such a thing happened. The members of the synagogue are working with police to determine what they can do for the future to prevent another incident from happening.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ramapo police at 845-357-2400.
