NEW YORK - Commuters using some Metro-North trains may soon experience a shorter ride into New York City.
Metro-North just announced new train schedules that will cut two-to-four minutes off rides to Grand Central Station on most New Haven line trains.
Officials say that under the new schedules 74 percent of New Haven Line riders will experience a faster ride than with the current schedule, but 8 percent will experience a slower trip.
