Mets to welcome players of yesterday and today at 1st-ever FanFest
Miss the Mets over the long, cold offseason? The team is offering a little something to help fill the void.
The Mets are hosting their inaugural FanFest at Citi Field Jan. 25, 2020, and are planning to bring along team legends, current players and new manager Carlos Beltran.
Among the events to take part in are a tour of the stadium, a chance to take batting practice in the cages, video games and a chance to meet Mr. and Mrs. Met. There will also be live panel discussions.
"The day will be filled with fun activities for fans of all ages, including the opportunity to interact with our players, coaches, alumni, and broadcasters," says Executive Vice President Lou DePaoli.
The Mets say more information regarding who will be appearing at FanFest and additional activities will be announced at a later date.
Tickets go on sale for season ticket holders Dec. 2 at 10 a.m., and then to the general public Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
