Minor voting machine problems springing up in HV
While they have been minimal, there have already been reports of broken or otherwise non-functioning voting machines in Westchester County today.
Two out of the four voting machines at the Mamaroneck Town Center had to be repaired after some kind of jam rendered them useless for a few hours. Those machines were eventually fixed.
One of the machines at the Mount Kisco Presbyterian Church experienced a similar malfunction. Voters who experience such problems are asked to fill out emergency ballots that are placed into discreet orange envelopes that are delivered by the Town of Mamaroneck to the Board of Elections. Election officials say that all emergency ballots will be counted and added to the total votes tonight.
