The search for a missing man from Pomona ended in tragedy today as his dead body was found inside his car at Harriman State Park.

Police say a hiker found 50-year-old Peretz Sontag inside his car Sunday about 60 feet down a cliff in the Haverstraw section of the park. The area had been searched a few days ago, but since the 2012 Kia Optima was so deep in the ravine, it was difficult to see.
