Jorge Hernandez-Rodriguez fled the scene of a car crash after having a fight with his mother.

NEW CITY - The search is over for a New City teen after he was found Thursday afternoon.

Police say Jorge Hernandez-Rodriguez, 19, crashed his SUV on South Central Road after having a fight with his mother. He then allegedly fled the scene. Police say he was found just before 4 p.m. near the New City-Haverstraw border.

Officials say Hernandez-Rodriguez appears to be unharmed, but is undergoing medical evaluation at a hospital. Police fear he may have hurt himself.
