Monopoly proposes rule changes

NEW YORK - Monopoly wants input about some new rules of the game.

Now through April 3, fans can debate 10 proposed house rules on the game's Facebook page.

Some examples include banning players from collecting rent while in jail and allowing players to make loans to each other to co-own properties.

Hasbro will then choose five rules to become part of a special edition and then include those rules as an "add on" to the official rules in a Monopoly guide next year.

The special edition is expected to be out this fall.
