A group of Bronx men is showing off a huge accomplishment to anyone who passes through East Tremont by the Cross Bronx Expressway.
The 68-foot tall "Bridging Transformation" was worked on by 20 men over the course of six weeks. All of them are clients from the VIP Community Services Men's Facility, a rehabilitation center.
They thought up, designed and painted the mural with help from the community. The men say they are proud to show the world their message of positivity.
The project was a joint effort between the nonprofit group Groundswell and VIP Community Services.
