Patients in the trial are reporting fewer severe headaches. (4/23/14)

NEW YORK - There's new hope for the millions of people who suffer from migraines.

Two new drugs are being tested to prevent migraines from occurring in the first place.

So far, patients in the trial are reporting fewer migraines.

However, the drugs still need to be tested in large scale clinical trials, and receive FDA approval so they are still years away from being available to the public.
