Apple Cinemas is coming to the former Showcase Cinema location.
It's the first location in the Hudson Valley.
Mayor Tom Roach made the announcement on an X post on Tuesday.
A new lease was signed for the theater, according to the mayor.
The theater is expected to open in the first week of May.
