Several people came out for New Rochelle's Earth Day Festival at Anderson Plaza on Saturday.
Guests got a chance to get their face painted, decorate hats for Earth Day, and visit many environmentally-friendly crafters and community businesses.
Owner of Decota Naturals Deandra Riley told News 12 that she wanted her business to be a part of the event.
"It's such a beautiful day. It's a good cause. I'm all about natural because... I just love it," Riley said.
Many parents brought their kids to the event, like Birna Grullon, who brought her daughter to the festival.
"If we don't take good care of our Earth, we're not going to have it," she said.
