A new series of murals in Concourse Village are aiming to inspire the future by serving as an ode to Yankees and Black baseball history.
The latest work from Bronx-born mural artist Andre Trenier features six living Black baseball legends. The art sits outside of the Bronx Terminal Market, right across the street from the Bronx Children’s Museum - a partner of the project.
“We know that we have a lot of talent here in the Bronx, and we want our kids to see what that talent looks like and know that their dreams are feasible and possible,” said Denise Rosario Adusei, executive director of the museum.
