The derailment occurred in a tunnel at 65th Street in Queens.

(AP) -- A subway train carrying some 1,000 passengers shook and tilted before derailing in a Queens tunnel on Friday, injuring more than a dozen people.

Four people suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to the hospital, while 15 others were treated at the scene.
