Newburgh will be enforcing a curfew during Halloween for children under the age of 16.

Beginning Oct. 30, children will be required by the city to be indoors by 9 p.m.

The curfew runs every night until 6 a.m. through Nov. 1.

There are exceptions for children with their parent or guardian, at work, or involved in an emergency.
