Newburgh green energy business seeks funding
A federal grant could soon help an alternative energy business create dozens of jobs in the City of Newburgh.
Wes Newman, the chief executive of a new alternative-energy company called Hudson Valley Center for Innovation, says his company is asking for federal funding to help it manufacture and sell turbines or windmills.
If the funding is approved, developers say those jobs could be available in Newburgh by the end of the year.
