Residents of Newburgh are divided over the trial of the four men accused of plotting to blow up two Bronx synagogues and shoot down military aircraft at Stewart Air Base.
Ashn Waris, the prayer leader at a mosque that the four men frequented, says that the men were merely lured by the promise of money, not because of hate.
Others agree that the men were not terrorists, but say they were still willing to do harm.
Residents agreed that entrapped or not, the men should be held accountable for their actions to some degree if convicted.
