Suzanne Colucci is the anchor of News 12 Westchester and Hudson Valley's 10 p.m. newscasts.
Suzanne also anchors a mid-evening update, letting viewers know what's happening in Westchester and the Hudson Valley "right now." You can always check out her "Facebook" page or follow her on "Twitter" for updates on News 12's top stories.
Suzanne is an award-winning journalist, who can also be seen providing live breaking news reports on a wide range of stories. Her reporting has earned her two New York Emmy Awards, one for an investigative report on internet predators targeting children and another for her poignant report about a local boy's battle with a rare brain disease. Suzanne has also been honored with several Edward R. Murrow, New York Festivals and Associated Press Awards.
Suzanne reported extensively on the September 11th Terror Attacks and the Priest Sex Abuse Scandal in the Catholic Church. She has covered many of Westchester's high-profile trials and for the past several years, has been reporting on the struggles, of wounded Hudson Valley soldiers, returning home from Iraq.
Before coming to News 12 Westchester, Suzanne reported for News 12 Long Island and before that, WRNN-TV, in upstate New York. For WRNN, she was sent to Long Island to cover the crash of TWA Flight 800.
Suzanne was a theatre major at Catholic University in Washington D.C. and spent a summer studying with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon. She went on to earn a Masters Degree in Broadcast Journalism from New York University.
Suzanne, her husband and son now call Westchester home.
