MONTGOMERY - A man was killed and two other people were injured in a fiery crash Monday in Orange County.

State police say the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Route 17-K in Montgomery. Investigators believe a 16-year-old driver veered into oncoming traffic while fixing the sun visor in her car.

The crash caused the other car to burst into flames, killing an elderly man in the passenger seat. The man’s identity has not been released yet.

Both drivers were hospitalized for their injuries.
