2 dead in Orange County crash

A truck crash has left two people dead in Orange County this morning. State police say a box truck crossed lanes and hit a tractor-trailer

Police say the crash happened around 7 a.m. on Route 208 and Neelytown Road in Maybrook.

MAYBROOK - A truck crash has left two people dead in Orange County this morning.

State police say a box truck crossed lanes and hit a tractor-trailer head-on around 7 a.m. on Route 208 in Maybrook. They say both drivers died on the scene as a result of the crash. Police are notifying the victims’ families so names have not yet been released.

No other cars were involved.

One lane of Route 208 remains closed as police investigate.
