Police say an 18-year-old was sitting in his car Saturday morning on Innis Avenue when an SUV filled with people drove by twice and then shot at his car as he walked into his house.

NEWBURGH - Newburgh residents say they are concerned after two recent drive-by shootings.

Police say an 18-year-old was sitting in his car Saturday morning on Innis Avenue when an SUV filled with people drove by twice and then shot at his car as he walked into his house.

Authorities say a second drive-by happened on Waring Road Monday night, less than a quarter of a mile away. Police say a woman in her 60s was inside her home when the bullets were shot into her living room.

There were no injuries in either shooting. Police say they are searching for suspects.
