2 injured after truck crashes into deli

TOMKINS COVE - A pickup truck careened into a deli in Tomkins Cove Wednesday, injuring the driver and one other person.

Police say a Yonkers man was driving the blue truck south on Route 9W and passed out at the wheel while suffering a medical emergency. His truck slammed into two parked cars and pushed them through the wall of the deli.

The driver of the truck was taken to Nyack Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
