NANUET - Three New York City men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a home in Nanuet, according to police.

The trio allegedly brandished weapons in a house on Newport Drive around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say they took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a waiting car.

Police identified the suspects as Kyle Johnson and Jamon Sutton, of the Bronx, and James Capeles, of Brooklyn. They have all been charged with robbery and criminal possession of stolen property.

It's unclear why the men would have chosen the home as their target, but because it was at the end of a cul-de-sac, police say they were bottlenecked by officers who intercepted them trying to flee the scene.

Investigators say no one was hurt.

Police say a similar crime happened at 25 Heritage Drive in New City Wednesday, but haven't said if the two crimes were connected.
