3 charged in Newburgh armed robbery

NEWBURGH - Two men and a woman are behind bars in connection with an armed robbery in Newburgh.

Michael Robinson, 19, of Newburgh, and Jailian Talley, 22, of West Point, are accused of robbing a man at gunpoint near the Varick Homes apartments on South Street.

Police made the arrests after the victim provided a description of the getaway vehicle. Police say they recovered a black, Walther P-38 9 mm handgun from the suspect’s vehicle.

A woman in their car, Alexa Proper, 19, of Kingston, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
