3 Hudson Valley MTA workers facing fraud charges

SPRING VALLEY - Ten MTA workers, including three from the Hudson Valley, are facing fraud charges after allegedly taking part in a subway scheme.

The workers are charged with falsifying inspection reports on subway signals.

Officials say they've been claiming to do the checks, but in reality, the signals went unchecked 33 times for two years.

Among those charged are Edwin Whitaker, of Spring Valley, Oscar Magalong, of Yonkers, and Christopher Winton, of Yorktown. 10 MTA employees accused of falsifying records
