SPARROW BUSH - State police say three men and a 15-year-old boy are accused of carrying out a bizarre home invasion that happened in broad daylight yesterday in Sparrow Bush.
Investigators say the suspects, Trayquan Lee, Raheem McKinoon, John Shortt, and an unidentified 15-year-old boy, were armed with guns when they barreled through the front door of a home on West Peenpack Trail at around 1 p.m.
The suspects are also allegedly connected to several other robberies, one in the Town of Deerpark, and another in Pennsylvania, where a pit bull puppy was stolen.
While they were being pursued by state police in Port Jervis, the suspects allegedly threw the stolen puppy out of their car.
The suspects were charged with first-degree burglary and criminal use of a firearm, both felonies. The three adults were sent to Orange County jail, while the 15-year-old was released to his parent
