NEW CITY - Repairs are underway at a bank in Rockland County after a car smashed into the front window.

A 78-year-old driver jumped the curb and slammed into the M & T Bank on South Main Street in New City Monday afternoon.

Luckily, no one in the bank or on the sidewalk was hurt.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident, but no tickets have been issued yet.
