Spampi's Pizzeria in Airmont is hosting an all-you-can-eat contest this weekend. The restaurant's owner says the event is aimed at bringing the community together, especially with the fire department, police department and local bowling leagues involved.

Several bands and comedians will perform at the contest, which is expected to take on up to 1,000 spectators. It will take place on a 40-foot stage donated by the Town of Ramapo.

The contest will take place Sunday, April 28 from 1 - 4 p.m.
