Alleged rape victim testifies in trial of 4 middle school boys

NEW CITY - The alleged victim in a sexual assault case testified today in a trial involving four Chestnut Ridge Middle School boys.

The 14-year-old girl testified by closed-circuit television today about how she was held down and sexually assaulted by three 13-year-old boys and a 12-year-old boy over the course of three days inside her home in June.

The girl says she was friends on Facebook with boys, and testified that they came to her home uninvited and violated her.

Under cross examination, the girl says she never bothered to call for help and alert authorities because she was afraid her parents would be upset if they knew there were boys in the house. She also admitted to texting a friend and describing having sexual relations with the boys, but never mentioning being raped.

The alleged victim's 12-year-old sister is expected to take the stand tomorrow. She will testify in open court in front of the four alleged suspects.
