STONY POINT - A boat being demolished at a Rockland County marina caught fire Monday afternoon.

Fire officials say the flames broke out at the Stony Point Marina on Hudson Drive around 3 p.m. They say when fire crews arrived, they found a boat completely engulfed in flames. The flames then spread to a nearby dumpster and caused damage to another boat that was also set for demolition.

Investigators say the boat was being crushed when it caught fire. They think it might have had leftover gas or a battery still inside.

The fire was put out in 30 minutes. No injuries were reported.
