NEW CITY - Hundreds of O&R customers lost power Tuesday evening as a storm sped through the Hudson Valley.

Within 10 minutes, the storm had come, done the damage and then moved on, officials say.

Utility officials say they had been preparing for the storm and expect repairs to continue throughout the night.

The National Weather Service lifted its thunderstorm watch in the region at 9 p.m.
