HILLBURN - Repairs are underway at a Rockland County church after a car slammed into the building.

Police say a 62-year-old woman was driving when she hit a corner of the Saint James Mar Thoma Church in Hillburn.

Workers were on the scene this morning, repairing the foundation stones dislodged by the accident.

The driver apparently stepped on the gas instead of the brake. She suffered minor injuries.
