CONGERS - A teenage boy from Congers is recovering today after a car smashed through the walls of his house and into his bedroom yesterday.

Police say Glen Carson, 47, of Valley Cottage, lost control of his car shortly after 5 p.m. on Ridge Road.

Gianna Lewis, an eyewitness, says she saw Carson's Ford Mustang careen across the front yard, smash a couple of fences and slam into the side of the home.

Police say the force of the crash brought down the walls on top of 13-year-old Job Aguila, who was lying on his bed. Agulia was taken to Nyack Hospital for minor injuries.

Police say Carson suffers from a medical condition that caused him to lose consciousness. They don't plan to file any charges or issue any tickets in what they are calling an accident.
