NEWBURGH - One person is under arrest after a stabbing in the city of Newburgh.

Cops responded to Liberty Street overnight Sunday to find the victim bleeding from the chest after being attacked with a knife.

According to police, the victim identified the attacker as Thomas McDonald.

McDonald now faces assault charges. He was picked up just hours later when he allegedly threatened another man with a knife outside of a bar on Grand Street.
