NANUET - A Nanuet man has been arrested for showing up at his former job with a loaded handgun.

Police say John Helmke, 23, got into an argument with his boss after getting fired from the Township Nursery in New Jersey on Monday afternoon.

Authorities say he then came back later in the day with a gun. Officers says they found a fully-loaded .38 caliber handgun and arrested Helmke. He was taken to the Bergen County jail in New Jersey.

No one was hurt.
