PEARL RIVER - A Rockland man is back behind bars this morning after being accused of assaulting two police officers.

Police initially arrested Raymond Dennison, 32, of Pearl River, last year for allegedly attacking a sheriff’s officer. Dennison got out on bail, but failed to show up to his court hearing and has been on the run.

Detectives finally located him on Monday, and that’s when they say he assaulted another officer. The injured officer was treated and released.

Dennison is now being held without bail.
