A report says Metro-North has been fined more than half a million dollars over the past decade for safety violations, and commuters are calling it troubling.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) released the report from the Federal Railroad Administration Friday. The report says that since 2004, there have been 139 reported safety violations for Metro-North. More than 40 percent of the violations...
