WARWICK - DPW workers across the Hudson Valley prepared for a dose of winter weather Tuesday.

Crews loaded salt into trucks to pretreat the roadways ahead of Tuesday evening’s commute.

Warwick DPW Commissioner Jeff Feagles says that icy conditions and black ice on roadways are always a concern with the drop in temperature.

Feagles says roads were already pretreated with salt since this weekend's rain.
