GREENWOOD LAKE - Road crews in Orange County are getting ready for Wednesday's snowstorm.

DPW crews replenished supplies, reloaded trucks and performed truck maintenance in advance of yet another storm.

The department says they expect to use about 300 tons of salt-sand mix during this round of snow and ice. Crews are prepared to work into Wednesday evening.

Snowfall totals are expected in the 3-5 inch range south of I-287 and 6-12 inches north and west of I-287.

A quarter-inch of ice could top the snow, making driving conditions extremely dangerous.
