Metro-North to resume regular service for Friday (5/19/16)

NEW YORK - Metro-North says it will resume regular service for Friday following Tuesday’s fire in East Harlem.

Commuters had faced days of headaches after a fire under the tracks in East Harlem crippled the rail line.

Many of the trains were being rerouted, while others were late or packed, leading to overcrowded platforms.

Crews worked non-stop to make the repairs.
