WHITE PLAINS - Students at a White Plains middle school are learning how to save lives.

Sixth-graders at Eastview Middle School are being taught how to recognize life-threatening situations like a stroke, heart attack and even choking.

Despite the students’ young age, they also learned how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator or AED Machine.

Even though it's only practice, the students say that they understand the importance of their actions.

The entire middle school is now undergoing the training for CPR.
