Explosion at new Middletown school caused by Molotov cocktails

MIDDLETOWN - Investigators are trying to figure out who damaged a new Middletown school and spray-painted its new playground. Fire officials say someone threw two Molotov cocktails into the school that is still being built. They also say they found graffiti on the new playground. Middletown Assistant Fire Chief Louis Morse says the fire at the school eventually burned itself out. He says he believes the incident happened on Tuesday evening. Officials say that the incident appears to have been planned. District officials say that the school will still open on time.
