A tree toppled over onto a car and is now blocking both northbound lanes.

RAMAPO - A toppled over tree closed the northbound Palisades Parkway in Ramapo this afternoon.

Police say the tree fell across all lanes of the parkway between exit 10 and 11 around 2 p.m.

The tree landed on a car, but there are no injuries reported.

Crews removed the tree and reopened the parkway around 3:45 p.m.
