WHITE PLAINS - Mount Pleasant's former police chief pleaded not guilty Monday to child pornography charges in federal court in White Plains.

Mahopac resident Brian Fanelli, 54, is accused of downloading more than 120 files, videos and images of child pornography. He is also accused of sharing the files from a computer in Westchester County.

Fanelli resigned his post in March after he was arrested in January.

A pre-trial hearing on Fanelli's case will be held Tuesday at noon at the White Plains Federal Courthouse.
