YONKERS - There is some good news for drivers planning to hit the road for Thanksgiving.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is temporarily suspending lane closures associated with road and bridge construction projects across the state.

The traffic plan starts Wednesday morning at 6 a.m. and ends Monday.

The governor says he hopes this will help drivers with their commute for one of the busiest travel times of the year.
