SPRING VALLEY - Three Rockland County communities are coming together to help make a difference in the lives of people hundreds of miles away.

Members of Project 845 started a water drive to help those without water in Flint, Michigan. On Thursday, they will drive to Flint with over 1,600 cases of bottled water.

"I just can't imagine living in 2016 in the United States of America and not having running water, or healthy water for that matter," says Hamadi Martin, of Project 845.

The group also plans on dropping off water at the Filling Station restaurant in West Haverstraw.

Anyone who would like to donate water can do so at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Spring Valley until Thursday night.
